My Agamograph

 For our art that we have been working on, we have made an Agamograph. What it does is it shows one picture then  when you move, it shows a new picture. Watch the video to see my Agamograph.
 It was really hard for me when the pastel always smudged everywhere and it was too fat too fit in tiny spaces

Mixed to Improper

This week I and a few others and the teacher worked on converting Mixed Numbers to Improper Fractions. This Show Me shows you how to convert  Mixed to Improper. I hope you can try this later and get the answer. I thought it was quite easy once I had learnt how to do it because before I didn't have a good understanding.  The thing that helped me most was using cut up circles to show what was happening.

Improper Fractions to mixed

This week I and a few others and the teacher worked on converting Improper fractions to Mixed Numbers. this Show Me shows you how to convert Improper Fractions to Mixed Numbers.  The three questions you have to ask were:

1. How many pieces make a whole?
2. How many wholes can you make?
3. What's left over?

Homework Week 5

For this week's homework we had to :

- Choose a marine animal (it could be anything - a type of fish, shellfish, mammal, coral etc)
- Find out some basic information about the animal - what it looks like, how big it gets, any distinguishing features.
- Find out where it lives (is it a deep-sea animal, live in tropical waters etc),  what it likes to eat etc
- Find out about this animals status - is it endangered? critically endangered?

I think this homework was fun.

Homework Week 4

For our homework this week we had to do a presentation on Japan because we had japanese students coming and visiting our school. We learnt a lot about Japan with doing our homework on this country. When the Japanese students came we showed them around our school and they told us a bit about thier country and we did the same as well. It was fun having the Japanese students because we learnt alot about thier culture.

Kensukes Kingdom map

We as a whole class are reading a book by Micheal Morpurgo called kensukes Kingdom.It is about a boy who goes on a boat around the world with his mum and dad and his dog.While they were sailing Micheal falls overboard while his parents were sleeping and he dissapear's. We had to do this on google drive on presentation mode.Then we had to find a map. Next we drew lines and moved them around where we wanted them to go. Lastly we animated the lines and words. I think it was fun doing this.
