After reading the book,(Bridge to Terabithia)we wrote a timeline of it(above).All of the activities we have done,we have been focused on the characters in the book.I have gone from chapter to chapter of what has happened.I liked the book Bridge to Terabithia.I think Leslie's purpose in the book was to make it more interesting.The timeline above is how Jess has changed.

This is a good overview of the story. You're right that Jess gained courage after meeting Leslie. He also began to express his creativity - that came through when he shared Terabithia with May-Belle and encouraged her to use her imagination as well.
